In 2009 the ALICA Framework was born and since then proved its usability and robustness in various challenging applications.

Application Domain Applications
Robotic Soccer The team Carpe Noctem Cassel utilised ALICA as their central team strategy and coordination tool in the RoboCup Middle Size League from 2009 until the team retired in 2017.
Robotic Space Missions ALICA coordinated the extra-terrestrial exploration of several heterogeneous robots during the research project IMPERA (2011-2014).
  The Distributed System Research Group participated at the DLR Space Bot Cup and utilised ALICA as their behaviour modelling tool for the competition in 2015.
Autonomous Driving VW Research commissioned a research study for applying the ALICA Framework to the domain of cooperative autonomous driving in 2014.
  A student team, supported by the Distributed System Research Group, utilised ALICA as their behaviour modelling tool for the Audi Autonomous Driving Cup in 2015.
Warehouse Automation Rapyuta Robotics coordinates their picking assistant robots with ALICA in various customer warehouses since 2019.
  ALICA also allows the customers of Rapyuta Robotics to coordinate their autonomous forklift in an automated multi-floor warehouse since 2020.
  iFollow showed interest in the ALICA Framework for coordinating their AGVs in 2019.
Web Services The Distributed Systems Research Group utilised ALICA for the coordination of the co-evolution process of web services in their research project PROSECCO from 2015 until 2019.
